I've just checked Teletext and they have just charged Barry Michael George,
also known as Barry Bulsara with the murder of Gill Dando.
Having held him for so long I don't see how they could have done otherwise.
In their desire to tell Joe public everything from the colour of his first
dummy to what he had for breakfast yesterday morning the "gentlemen" of the
press stand a very good chance of getting this case thrown out before its
even tried, assuming they charge him that is. The guff I've seen and heard
of so far seems to go way beyond what the law allows. It happened before
when the case against a couple of alleged IRA types had their case dismissed
after comment by one of the daily's and they don't seem to have learnt the
lesson.
