I will never accept that the property stolen from me or any other
shooter is, ever could be, or ever will be "The property of the police".
Theft is theft, the ownership of the stolen property resides with the
person from whom it was stolen and their heirs in perpetuity. I may
never shoot my guns again, but I hope my grandson will get them back and
have as much fun as I had shooting them. My greatest hope is to be able
to teach him the joy of shooting handguns, but if all else fails I will
teach him the joys of shooting rifles. Hell, handguns were far more fun
to shoot than rifles ever will be!

Actually I'm not sure the gun was the property of the police until the
owner was properly compensated.
