Apparently he was on more than nodding terms with the Chief
Constable according to stories circulating down the Club.
Also not only did he have an FAC and SGC, but an RFD as well!
This is indeed priceless. The embarassment being considerable,
the police discovered his background while investigating other
offences not because of a background check of his suitability
to own firearms.
