Martin made some fair points in reply to Peter Sarony's suggestion of
armoured vehicles giving free access at all times to Stickledown and I think
one has to agree that in the main, his points are valid.
However, what Martin did not address is the solution to the problem - and is
one that Peter Sarony's e-mail brings to attention. A number of us,
including me, have made efforts to have the matter dealt with in some way
but it remains outstanding. It is clearly unacceptable that the members
continue to be inconvenienced by this problem. It may well be that the NRA
has a solution to it in hand, given the works that are currently going on at
Bisley and it would be interesting to hear how it is being dealt with.
