Merseyside are also saying this. They attach a note to be given to the
referee that says one word answers are not sufficient.

Well, it's their own fault, ACPO wrote all the forms (I have
absolute proof in the form of a draft of the referee form which
they gave to the Home Office - word for word identical with
Form 125), so if they don't like it, tough, they shouldn't
have gone forward blithely without reference to shooters.
In fact I recall shooters did object quite strenuously to
the forms at the consultation stage.
