Hi, Steve
Some minor extra information to remove some of the question marks
in my last email.
The King at the time of the Great War was George V.
His eldest son was Edward VIII, who wanted to marry American
divorcee Wallis Simpson. He abdicated the throne and became the
Duke of Windsor.
George V's second eldest son became George VI and was the father
of our present Queen. His wife Queen Mary became the Queen Mother.
