Probably more info than i need as a beginner but interesting
nonetheless.
This speedplay website has a lot of great info.  Have not seen a
speedplay
system that is dual however.

I have the trek fx7.3 and I have narrowed down the clipless system to
the  shimano pd-m324 for the dual purpose.  I have not reached hard
core
status yet, evidently.  Thanks for all the help!
