First opportunity to post events after you guys went on. James & I rode slowly (James wheel turned out to be in pretty bad shape) back towards EC and met up with Colleen near The Legacy. James' rim was broken at the spoke nipple and cracked in two other places. Colleen SAG's us both back in.
Got bikes to Don's: James needs new rear wheel, mine, a new shifter (so far). All in all it could have been a lot worse. My helmet is toast (better that than my head). Will probably ride in the am tomorrow (old bessie) to work out any soreness that will develop overnight. Kinnie still gets the medal for the most stylish crash. (Mercedes vault and stuck the landing). Praying for a quick recovery for you!
