After Dale & I split from you guys, Dale was rolling at 26+. We were going to
go to 58 to come back in as Dale said he needed to get back. He came off pull
while I maintained pace for my pull. When I pulled off Dale was way back. I
slowed to 21-22, Dale never closed gap. Don't know what happened. Crossed 95 to
continue to 58. At Cliftonville, looked back but didn't see Dale anywhere. I
assumed he turned on Sugar Hill and went back via Thompson Chapel. I continued
on to 58 and back in.

Not very humid but was hot.

Subject: [COWs] Sunday Afternoon Ride

Dale, Wally, Ronnie and Bob L. met at OSB today for a brisk 27 mile ride. The
route was Hornes Church to Liles to 97 where the group split. Wally and Bob
did a 21 mph pace along 97 while watching Ronnie and Dale pull away. Ronnie
must have set a very aggressive pace as Dale was waiting for us at Sugar Hill
while Ronnie rode off into the distance toward London Church. The Group of
Three rode a sane pace back toward Lake Wilson via Sugar Hill, Thompson Chapel
and 58. It was a very warm day, but a very good day for a ride.
