This will be a perfect tune up for CDA...well I guess it could be better if
there were hills in Washington.   CDA is VERY cold but you get over it
quick with 2500 people hitting you!  Be sure to save your legs 1st lap of
the bike.   I rode 5:10 there and blew myself up for the run.  Lots of
hills but beautiful area.

I do best when I only take in water for the first 30 min of bike in an
ironman then start with calories.  Otherwise I get the same cramps and
nausea that you mentioned.    What nutrition are you using?  What's your
calories per he plan on bike and run?  How many calories before race?

Whatever your plan is, stick to it and trust it.  It looks like we may
catch a break on weather this weekend.
