May I ask you to elaborate somewhat on this? I haven't come across a cygport kit that provides for an optional patch. It seems to me that all patches provided with a .cygport file are automatically applied. Can you describe how your proposed patch (which sounds like a good idea, my experience with ninja is that it is indeed very fast) ...can you describe how it is to be integrated (or not) into the source kit archive? Or, now I think what you mean is, it's optional for the cmake maintainer to add it when s/he uploads to the servers? -- Soren Andersen
