For me the problem is still opened. I do not have the /usr point in my mount point list. I have tried to follow all steps suggested at x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/cygwin-x-faq.html#q-error-font-eof but it still doesn't work. I have also reinstalled all X components. All those doesn't work.
