I was able to get the repository download

Thanks for the report. This is working fine for me locally. Can you
please upgrade, check the problem is still recurring, and provide the
output from `cygcheck -srv >cygcheck.out`?

I got the same symptom yesterday from the previous git version on the recently updated curl repo, and just put it down to traffic, as `git pull --ff` worked immediately after, as did a later `git remote update`:

$ git remote update
remote: Enumerating objects: 6617, done.
remote: Counting objects: 100% (4385/4385), done.
remote: Compressing objects: 100% (280/280), done.
error: RPC failed; curl 92 HTTP/2 stream 5 was not closed cleanly: CANCEL (err

error: 4751 bytes of body are still expected
fetch-pack: unexpected disconnect while reading sideband packet
fatal: early EOF
fatal: fetch-pack: invalid index-pack output
$ git --version
git version 2.43.0

Of course, it could also be some issue with my latest curl build! ;^>
