First let's clear the air by saying that Phillip Hallam-Baker
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> is a renowned computer security expert who has
worked for the Clinton Whitehouse and is a Clinton/Gore Devotee.
Of course people who work in government are ordinary people. But
shouldn't we be a little troubled that we lead the world in
incarceration? Our current rate of incarceration is six to 10 times
that of most industrialized countries. We have more prisoners in one
state, California, then do the nations of France, Germany, Great
Britain, Japan, Singapore and the Netherlands combined. I'm not
saying that the Prison Guards, Judges, Law Makers, and Law
Enforcement Officers are necessarily bad people, individually, but
when they stick people in jail for smoking marihuana for alleviating
cancer or aids how can I not think their actions are evil?
