Fat chance. Eurotrash doesn't even raise a ruckus about them AWACS and
Fuchs crews, nevermind strongly suggesting to shut down US army bases or

What I don't understand is how at projected 2004 US deficit of 307 G$ --
not counting already happened capital losses of 1.1 T$ in trading and
projected 1.9 T$ worst case overall costs anyone is expecting the US
economy, and shortly's the world's not crashing?
There better be a hidden agenda making a shred of sense, because otherwise
the only explanation left is complete insanity.
It may be that Bush is just fulfilling Prophecy. You know, the stuff about Rapture, Tribulations, the rebuilding of the Temple, the destruction of Israel, Jesus returning to rule for 1000 years, Armageddon, etc.
One of my neighbors is a conservative Christian fundamentalist. His children are in fundamentalist Christian schools, the family spends all day Sunday in church functions and prayer groups, and so on.
And yet he has travelled to Israel several times and claims to be a big supporter of the Zionist Entity.
So, is he a Jew lover? Nope. He says Jews were rejected by God and will surely go to Hell to suffer eternal damnation. Mud people, too.
However, his church (and related churches...I don't know how many) believe that the Jews are serving God by being part of Prophecy. I may have the timelines wrong, but as I understand it the Plan is that the Israelites will be involved in the conquest of Babylon (Iraq), the Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem (making it the Third Temple, I guess, no doubt built by Bechtel engineers), then some kind of world war will occur, the righteous will be Raptured straight into Heaven, the Jews will be destroyed and sent to Hell, and then JC will rise out of Babylon or Yonkers or someplace and will reign as King for 1000 years, at which point the Earth will be destroyed.
The right wing conservative Christians support Israel fervently as fullfilment of Prophecy.
George W. Bush is a right wing conservative Christian who has hired a lot of Jews (Wolfowitz, Fleischer, Abrams, Dov Zakheim, Adam Goldman, Jay Lefkowitz, Mark Weinberg, Richard Perle, Ken Melman, etc.) as war hawks in his Administration.
Coincidence? Or does he view himself as a man for his time, as part of the Great Plan?
Perhaps he sees himself as the major player in the "Left Behind" book series.
As for the record budget deficits, the mounting bankruptcies of infrastructure companies (airlines, transportation, energy), the $100 bililion (and rising) cost of the War with Babylon, he won't care. Conservatives like him are not real conservatives, they will just run the printing presses to print more money.
America is God's Nation. America will help the Jews rebuild the Temple. America will conquer the Babylonians. America will watch as the Israelites are destroyed, perhaps shedding a small tear as the Christkillers are sent to Hell.
The budget deficit will not matter, as earthly concerns will not matter once the righteous Americans are Raptured into the Kingdom of Christ.
