I would like to be mentor, but the issue is right now I don't know the
internal technical details of the cython compiler, but I am going through
the compiler code currently. As well as the tickets raised in the last
couple of days have given me some insight on the inner working. I think I
should be up to speed and should be amongst the tickets in sometime. In
case I become a mentor, it will be more of a collaboration between me and
the student rather than a pure mentor-student relationship and I will have
to work more closely with the student(have no issue with it).

People who says, "It's not winning or losing that matters, but
participation", probably lost.
