Greg hasn't spoken up on this thread yet (I'd be really curious to  
see what he says) but I would hazard a guess that Pyrex will lean to  
C types being raw C types, C semantics and all.

I don't think any meanness was intended, and hopefully we can keep it  
that way. This thread is long and controversial enough as it is :).
