Thank you so much Edgar!
I hope my poor German will be enough to understand what is being said… It is
a pity there is no English (or Hebrew) translation. Still I am very thankful
for what we do have.
My heart skipped a beat as I noticed a photo of Obodowka In the photos
gallery.
My mother and her family were deported to Verhovka, where my grandparents
and great-grandmother perished. Later My mother and aunt moved to Obodowka.
I am looking forward to watching this documentary.
Thanks again,
Diana Schulman,
Tel Aviv.

[German-speaking] Czernowitzers,

Don't miss the premiere of this 35 min. documentary from 2020 finally
on-screen after the Corona pandemic. This is at the same time a reencounter
with Felix Zuckermann: "On a journey through Ukraine and Moldova, Felix
Zuckermann discovers for the first time the places of his mother's
deportation, he meets contemporary witnesses and talks to young Ukrainians
and Moldovans in a memory workshop."

Our good friends Markus Winkler (project leader, Berlin), Oleksii
Yakoviichuk (project participant, joined from Kiev), Mariana Hausleitner
(historian, Berlin), Dirk Rupnow and Eva Pfanzelter (Institute for
Contemporary History, University of Innsbruck) will discuss.

"See" you in Insbruck next Wednesday!
