The wx demo works fine. I have not experienced any problems with grids
here. The grid shows the value just fine, but it seems it's
converted to
plain ascii over to the label caption.
Oh, that's different. All you gave me to go on was that it wasn't
*accepting* the characters; now you're telling me that it is
accepting them, but saving them improperly.
I'll look into it more deeply and see what I find.
