I don't share your sense of humor. All I hear is someone who is likes
to zero in on what amounts to nit picking, and then harp on it
endlessly.

I agree that some good points are brought up; when the discussion
doesn't go the way he wants, though, it gets real whiny real fast. I
can't tell you how many times I wanted to write "Get over it!!" but
bit my tongue (or actually, my fingers).

I have no problem with wanting to improve Dabo. If I was a better
programmer and understood everything that went into it, I'd want to
pitch in, too. But what I see is someone who likes to zero in on one
tiny aspect and beat it to death. I'll bet that if he saw the Sistine
Chapel ceiling, he'd find something about that to bitch about.

It's attitude. I'm amazed at what you and Ed have done, and appreciate
how much you've improved my programming life. I can knock out a GUI
app in about a tenth of the time it took me when I had to code it in
raw wxPython. If I ever thought that something in Dabo wasn't optimal
and pointed it out, and either of you explained why it was the way it
was, that would suffice for me. I wouldn't continue to whine about it
as if I knew what's best. I guess that's what sets me off about Carl's
attitude.
