IMHO, web app developemen had become much prevalent compared to desktop apps, and Dabo fills a very small niche as a tool to develop desktop apps. But in certain areas, desktop apps still dominate, such as the Eclipse platform and related products. Maybe it's time to ponder upon the direction Dabo takes. Actually I'm thinking of so-called BI apps (such as pentaho), and I'd say they're reporting tools in disguise (or for marketing). In addition to being a framwork and IDE, if we makes one or two general purpose business apps based on Dabo (eg JasperReport), that'd be great for Dabo's marketing and future development. Just my 2 cents, Heling Yao _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/dabo-users Searchable Archives: http://leafe.com/archives/search/dabo-users This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/dabo-users/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
