IMHO, web app developemen had become much prevalent compared to
desktop apps, and Dabo fills a very small niche as a tool to develop
desktop apps. But in certain areas, desktop apps still dominate, such
as the Eclipse platform and related products. Maybe it's time to
ponder upon the direction Dabo takes.

Actually I'm thinking of so-called BI apps (such as pentaho), and I'd
say they're reporting tools in disguise (or for marketing). In
addition to being a framwork and IDE, if we makes one or two general
purpose business apps based on Dabo (eg JasperReport), that'd be great
for Dabo's marketing and future development.
