I know that, but don't think that implicit conveniences should be
allowed to overwrite my specification.

That's a dogmatic interpretation of the current implicit and wrong behavior.

Anyway, what's the right way to tell Dabo to use a connection file
without letting Dabo overwire my explicit settings?
