This shows that you did *not* understand what I wrote. You cannot
"order" it to use a connection file. All that the CxnFile property
does is ensure that that connection file's definitions are loaded
before the form tries to open a named connection. Insisting that it
should behave otherwise is simply incorrect. I don't know how else to
phrase it to make this any clearer.
I develop against different connections all the time, especially when
developing apps that need to work across the web. I need a direct
connection when developing the UI to test, and then a web connection
for deploying. See
