Sure, if you want to limit development to hand-coding. When you work
with visual tools, the order of instantiation is not that obvious.
Explicit ordering is preferable to implicit ordering.
I've made a good amount of progress today, but progress with the wx-
layer is slow. It will take me a while before it's ready to commit.
