Has anyone made any further progress on this? I just downloaded and tested
the wxPython 2.8 Docs Demos and Tools on my Windows 7 64-bit box with Python
2.6 and ran several demos (focusing on ones that have status bars), and they
all seemed to work. So then I ran the demo program from a console just to
be sure that no warnings or related messages were being printed, and that
checked out too.

I don't know if this information helps, but I hope it does. I'd love to be
able to work with Dabo on all my computers, so if there's something else
that I can do to help, let me know.
