I have done some preliminary work (played around) with automating Google Earth. I have a GPS data collector that I took on a cruise and "recorded" the trip. You can play the trip back in Google Earth. Totally cool. I won't get the chance to do more with it until I get a job that can use it. Darn! It is very easy to create Google Maps or Earth xml scripts with Python.
