It's most certainly possible, but I see a big reason why I'm skeptical
that another toolkit will ever be wrapped: it's a HUGE amount of work!
Probably 90% or more of the time I spent working on Dabo has been
related to wxPython. I know that there is no way that either Paul or I would
have the time available to undertake this, so it would depend on someone else
carrying the torch.
We chose wxPython because in 2004 it was the clear front-runner in both
features and cross-platform performance. Python 3 was just a glimmer in Guido's
eye. Things have changed in the last 9 years.
