If I only define "ShowCloseButton=False" on one or none of the two addPanel

Anyone has a work around or correction for this as I would not want close

the panes.
Actually, why not? Shouldn't the user be able to decide if and when they want
to show
them? Shouldn't the user also be able to undock them (and put them on a separate
monitor, for instance), too?
If I had to guess, and that's all I have time for today, it would be
that something in the underlying aui library changed. I remember creating that
class, getting it to work, and then having it break on the next version of
wxPython because Andrea changed something in the class.
Just checked with 2.8 and it doesn't happen in there, so something changed between then and 2.9.5 which is my default version I am working with.

2.9.x has seen a lot of changes and some are sizer stuff in wxWidgets and there are even more for Phoenix.

I know I should use 2.8 with Dabo but my other stuff is 2.9.x based.

BTW, will you want to support 2.9/3.0 classic or would you go directly to 2.9/3.0 Phoenix?
