Dabo has been around since 2004, and has been production-ready since around 
2008. I would characterize its status as being in maintenance mode, since it 
does what people need.

Werner F Bruhin is doing a lot of work to get Dabo working with the Phoenix 
release of wxPython. It’s getting there, but there are still some rough edges.

It is 99% the UI toolkit. There may be other places where it might need to be 
updated, but those are much more easily patched.

Start playing around with the working branch and the Phoenix release of
