Werner F Bruhin is doing a lot of work to get Dabo working with the Phoenix
release of wxPython. It’s getting there, but there are still some rough edges.
2. If not is this due to the UI or are there other areas within the
framework that will break under Python 3 or greater?
It is 99% the UI toolkit. There may be other places where it might need to be
updated, but those are much more easily patched.
3. If there are plans how does a mere mortal help?
Start playing around with the working branch and the Phoenix release of
wxPython. Most of the development discussions happen on the dabo-dev list:
