Lacking in faith? Faith is certainly the cornerstone of our Christian lives. And our faith is tested every day in small matters as well as large matters. The big question is how much do we trust in God's providence? How much faith do we have in God, especially as it relates to decisions we make in our lives. Do we have enough faith in God to accept a terminal or serious illness, injury or misfortune? To help us choose our spouse? To enlighten us as we search out our vocation in life? One of the most difficult things that we can do is to let go our own stubborn will, to hand over control of our lives to God. But what beautiful and miraculous things happen when we do! "He has given food to those who fear him; He will be forever mindful of his covenant. - Psalm 111:5 - Steve Shawl (c)2000 The Way, The Truth, The Life.
