Dear readers,

Today, is the annual remembrance of all those who have taken on consecrated
life in Christ, be it the religious life of a nun, a brother or a priest in
the religious life, or as all priests and deacons working under the
direction of a bishop.

But wait! There is more - much more!!

Here is a direct quote from Pope John Paul II:

"The mission of the consecrated life in the present and in the future of the
Church, now at the threshold of the third millenium, concerns not merely
those who have received this special charism, but the entire Christian
community."

To fully understand this beautiful message, one needs to read the entire
transcript from John Paul II. You can check out the first half of the
installment on our website today, Sunday, Feb 4th. It continues on
tomorrow's page (Monday) which is already now online. As you may already
know, the various pages's for each day of the week remain online for about 5
days before they are replaced by updated material.

So please, take a few moments and surf over to our website and read this
wonderful proclamation given by John Paul II.

In Christ,

 - Joachim Nelson, ocds
