I wonder if a small bell on the pup would help.  If the movement is causing the
problem because of the vision problem maybe being able to locate the pup with
his hearing would help.  Does the puppy smell differently to Thor?  There may
be a smell that is bothering him too.  I hope Thor will relax and accept your
new little one.
