This is Kevin and I am Cindy's husband. She is on bedrest for a few days,
but she wanted me to send this message to Ruby:
Ruby,
My niece was diagnosed w/ Cardiomyopathy (viral onset) at the age of 18
months from a STOMACH VIRUS. We were told she would never make it to two
years old, but with the help of TWO heart trasnplants (one at age 5 and the
other at age 9) she is now 13 years old and going strong. She was one of
the first children put on Carnitine and b/c of that she made it to five
years of age w/o needing a transplant.
Give your girl a hug, and if you need any more info on Cardiomyopathy, let
me know. I know a few human Cardiologists. LOL
