I was hoping someone might give me some advice. My little guy, Jerry,
who is 2 yrs old is like a bottomless pit for food. He was on proplan
and eating 8 cups a day. He got an allergy from the lamb and rice and I
switched to innova and he now is eating 4 cups a day. He doesn't do
much running but seems to always want more food. I read the bag and it
stated if they are active, they should get a little over 4 cups a day.
Should I try feeding him more? He also get treats and fruit. I mix his
food with yogurt but he still doesn't seem full and he is only 127#. He
dad, Noah, who is 6 yrs old, is 193# and eating only 4 cups of
perscription KD per day. I had Jerry neutered after he was 1 yr old and
it didn't help him gain weight at all. When I had Noah neutered at 4
yrs old, he gained and finally filled out. Will Jerry ever gain more
weight? He doesn't look bad, he just seems quite small and had the
neverending hunger for more food.
