Adding more votes:  From IRC people come by from time to time and
comment than they would like 2.0 to be the default.

I can't recall names or how many people, but I know that 2 or 3 people
have said as much.

I vote for making 2.0 the default format, but I can do that for myself
in my defaults, so if you feel safer with a warning that's fine with
me too.
