Then sit on the bike (neutral position) and measure sag. If sag isn't close to 20-25 (or if you want 30) %, then deflate or inflate to get desired sag. If the fork has top and bottom air valves, things get interesting. This controls small bump sensitivity also, and in a sense aids in the rebound. Where the heck is Flash when we need him?? Eish, bru. One rule of thumb is that the sag shouldn't use up more than 20-25% of the total travel. I think that goes for both rear and front shocks. I got the owners guide... but in terms of setup...they don't give too many clues... (unlike my FOX which says weight = psi/bar) read stuff like measure travel, sit on bike measure sag.... turn rebound adjusment to get desired sag... but no clue as to what the starting psi should be?,,, any advice would be appreciated...
