CRC. check that the travel dont interfere too much with the bike's geometry. you could go from 100mm to 120 mm safely (I did that on the shwinn before it became an xtc)
I got the rockshox sid. It was more expensive than the Reba that the bikeshop recommended, but savings in airfare alone for one trip paid back that difference. That, and the sid was prettier. The rockshox came with (among other) pink decals. I think there were green ones as well, would match your bike :) On 11 October 2012 13:28, Jacques Booysen <[email protected]> wrote: > I have a hardtail giant talon 26inch, and i love it and take it all over > the world. > > My front shock Rockshock Tora is finish.. kla .. kaput. > They quoted me R1600 to service it, and R2600 for a brand new one. > > Say i want to rather get a new shock that is slightly better with more > travel but not that much more expensive. > What models should i be looking at? > > Any advice would be apreciated. > > Gonna make a return to D&D once my bike is back from the shop.. > > Thanks > Jacques > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "DarkAndDirty" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/darkanddirty?hl=en. > -- http://cyclingwith.blogspot.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DarkAndDirty" group.
