Hi Johannes,

Hm. Have a dir with new images in it. Because I am using ASP and DT I
make a parallel dir tree with same structure usings symlinks to the
originals for use in DT. I did not use ASP here. I edited the images on
my desktop in darktable. All in this dir with new default settings,
white balance, some cropped.

I copied this directory trees to my notebook.

I imported the wron (ASP) tree first. I realized that there were no
changes visible. This is ok, because there were no xmp files i n this dir.

Then I removed the images in DT and imported from the correct location.
The thumb nails stayed - the changes were not visible. I did not
realized here, that perhaps the xmp files were loaded, only the
thumbnails were not. I did several tests with reimport, restart etc.
Deleting the library did not help also.

Deleting the mipmap cache helped at last.

I will try to reproduce it again.
