Hi all, Recently I stumbled over Darktable and found it to be a clever application which looks promising. Thanks for your effort and time creating it!
I installed version 1.1.1 from the Debian unstable repository. Sadly enough, it usually completely freezes my laptop when I try to open any RAW file from my new Sony SLT-A57. It doesn't have any problems with my Panasonic GF-1 files, though. Is there anything I could do to improve support and stability of the SLT-A57 in Darktable? What things are missing? I am a programmer myself, but I have absolutely no experience with image processing or GTK.
