if an image has geo-tag in its RAW metadata, the geotag should be treated by DT and the image should have a geotag on import (but no XMP at this point)
when the XMP is created, geotag data should be copied to the XMP and no user-visible change should happen wrt geotagging if the geotaig is then removed, the geotag should be removed from the XMP (we don't touch the RAW) and an image that has an XMP with no geotag should be treated as not having the geotag at all to restore the original geotag at this point, you would need to reset the image to restore DT's default processing including the geotag. This means losing all your changes but that seems consistent with the rest of the DT UI and I think this is the good thing... the use case "I have accidentally removed the geo tag and I want to only restore the geotag" seems too complicated to me to require a specific button or mechanism to handle.
