Isn't it easier to just have a button names "Resync GPS data" that will get data from the exif info in the RAW and apply it to our db for selected images? And for the rest, if the image has GPS data, it should be shown on the map, and if not (maybe I want to remove that data before publishing) it shouldn't be shown.
