I sort of agree except that before cahnging anything we REALLY need to make
spot-size more discoverable. Ctrl-mousewheel alone won't make it.
I am not sure how to make it simple UI-wise. if we add a slider "size of
the current spot" to the spot-removal iop then we need to have a notion of
"current spot" which we currently don't have.
... or add to the iop text taht ctrl-wheel does change the size, that would
work too
