I did not say, metadata Canon, I did say, camera model :). That is filled with "canikon" by alex (I don´t know why canikon, other text works too). Thake your dng, which makes dt crashing and change the camera-model-tag. For example (on linux here): exiftool -Model="" 000000.dng for an empty tag.
