Hi all, I don't know if I am the only one, or if I miss something, but I find the keyword module quite confusing and not really user-friendly.
To replace in context, I've about 50K photos all tagged, with a heavy use of hierarchical tags (ex : Iceland|Myvatn|Hverir or Landscapes|volcano) Here is what I'm waiting for : 1- an easy way to access to my photo by tags/other infos 2- keep the power of the collect module 3- don't allow to modify tags here, imho, it belongs to the right panel (I remember some discussion about that recently) 1- implies a- hierarchical view if necessary b- no need to reset collect module when changing tag selection c- simple click access 2- implies a- we still need 2 parts : one for managing the collection, one to explore tags/other infos b- we need to have a way to say "I want to add this rule, without deleting the previous one" I've done a little hack to the keyword module for my own use ATM : - simple click selection - "selection_change" reset the collect module and add the new rule - except if you press ctrl while clicking - the rule is added with a '%' at the end, so when you select "Iceland", you have all the images from Iceland. I find this way easier to use. I'd like to know your thought about this...
