Hi There,

In processing my photos, I commonly come across a situation were in a
series of photos, I modify a setting or turn it off, which had
previously been set (because I changed my mind or for any other reason),
so the history stack grows with each change.

It would be nice if there was a global compress history styles option.
That is, I change one photo and copy the new setting using the history
stack copy function. That part is straight forward and easy to do.
However, I then have to go through each photo singly to compress the
history stack. This is painful, time consuming and error prone.

Hence, to me, being able to compress the history stack either by
selection or globally would be very useful.

Now the reason I'm doing this is my assumption being that all styles are
queued in the pipeline. whether you adjust or disable it, which would
increase processing time needlessly.

Now, if this functionality exists and I've missed it or I'm
miss-understanding how the sequence of styles are queued, then please
elucidate.

Thanks.

mrh.
