I just opened a collection w/371 images, duplicated, selected all and
exported using your suggested command to start darktable.  I will provide
the text output via web access when export is completed.  I doubt that you
will accomplish anything here as I have never experienced your problem.  I
also am currently using NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-343.22.run.

It may take some time as most are 24mb images from a D7100, others 12mb
from D3.
