I did some testing with the latest version. It works well except for the 
color management. I can't select a printer profile as none are listed in 
the "printer profile" menu (profiles are present in 
~/.config/darktable/color/out and 
/opt/darktable.print/share/darktable/color/out/). These profiles are 
listed in the "export profile menu".
The image isn't centered in the page, the left border is bigger than the 
right even using the center function. If borders are set to 0 the image 
is printed in mosaic on several pages.
The minimal border size is 2 for a 4x6 page.
Except for the color, the prints are sharp without lines or banding 
effects.
