Do you know the native resolution of the printer? If 360 that's looks like the bug I have fixed. The commit is: > commit b6a0a78900d3dbb5d6913adf6009a293c62abfc2 > Author: Pascal Obry <pas...@obry.net> > Date: Sat Dec 20 22:37:28 2014 +0100 > > Tag the TIFF with the native printer resolution when in print module. > > This is needed to ensure proper layout on printer not using the default > 300dpi (like some Epson printers which are using 360dpi). > > src/imageio/format/tiff.c | 11 ++++++++++- > src/libs/print_settings.c | 4 ++++ > 2 files changed, 14 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) Maybe not the same sha-1 on your side as I have just rebased with the fix to list profiles. > The minimal border size is 2 for a 4x6 page. You mean the GUI does not let you set less that 2 or is that a printer configuration? > Except for the color, the prints are sharp without lines or banding > effects. That's already a good point :) > Linux 3.18.1-desktop-1.mga5 #1 SMP Mon Dec 15 21:44:40 UTC 2014 x86_64 > x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux > darktable 1.7.0+97~gdb83349 print-module branch > Epson Stylus Photo R2000 > Glossy photo paper Ilford 4x6 Is that a border-less printer? Did you have a non-printable area on the page? Also which driver have you set in CUPS? BTW, it would be nice to print from the console and report the lines output while printing (starting with [print]). This should help track down those issues.
