Hi all,
I'm using DT 2.0.5 on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+,
with 6 gigabytes of RAM. When exporting edited files to jpg my processor
jumps to approx. 180% usage. It also overheats. I have to throttle the
cpu using cpulimit to export.
This happens consistently with darktable, and also with Shotwell when
importing new files.
Is this normal? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? I had thought that
perhaps it's a memory problem and there was a lot of swapping going on,
but I've looked at memory usage using vmstat and there is no swapping
taking place.
